Design Day #2 in Yerevan

In April, HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL and Russian-Armenian University (RAU) hosted Design Day #2 in Yerevan. The highlight of the event was a public talk moderated by Mitya Kharshak and Igor Gurovich, centered around the theme "Girl Power", exploring the impact of women on the design industry. Some of the brightest representatives of the contemporary Armenian design scene joined the discussion.

Following the public discussion, there was a presentation introducing an educational program in Communication Design, jointly launched by HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL and the Russian-Armenian University (RAU).

During the second part of the event, Mitya Kharshak delivered another lecture, showcasing a dozen of his most beloved projects executed in recent years for diverse cultural institutions such as museums, theatres, and festivals:

“Though my presentation was titled "Career in Design: Personal Experience", it wasn't solely about career paths as conventionally understood. Rather, it delved into the passion, enjoyment, and sheer joy hormones that infuse our profession”.
